Program & Services

Peaceful Futures - is a free of charge counselling program for couples that have experienced abuse in their relationship in the past and want to work to improve their relationship and have a peaceful future together. Couples who qualify for the program must commit to an abuse-free relationship while attending the program and the counselling must not be court ordered. Counselling is provided by Marriage and Family Therapists. The YWCA Brandon continues to work together with other professionals and organizations in our community as well as the Manitoba Government who funds Peaceful Futures through Manitoba Family Services and Housing to ensure every home is a peaceful home.

Women In Networks (WIN) - Women in Networks luncheons are hosted by the YWCA Brandon and provide an opportunity for women to meet and network with other women. Women also have the opportunity to hear one of the knowledgeable speakers we invite to discuss the areas of interest to women. Luncheons are currently held every third Monday of the month (excluding for July, August and December) at Remington's Seafood and Steakhouse in the Town Centre. To have your name placed on the email list, please contact Nickole at ywca2@wcgwave.ca.

Golf Tournament - Our charity tournament! Our golf tournament occurs every 2 years with all proceeds going to YWCA programs and services. Thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, committee members, golfers and Glen Lea Golf Course for making our 2009 tournament a success.
